Colorful Flowers - Meeting and Re-meeting:

[Unsorted - World/Character Building - T]

Roses Are Red / Violets Are Blue
Sunsets and Oceans

“You don't have to tell me anything, William,” His voice is softer than its ever been before, gentle and kind. “I'm not here to judge you, not this time at least.” And he holds out his hand with sad smile. After  a moment stormy ocean wave colored eyes close.

“Tch. Whatever.” A slender hand takes the offered one, both weights sturdy and anchor the two to the present even as emotions rush between the two of them. Will lifts his brown covered head, shaking his bangs from eyes and away from his tear stained cheeks. “You're an ass either way, Dalton.” He's pulled to his feet as red-brown eyes glow with amusement.

Dalton chuckles and shakes his head, “Hey. I ain't the human who thinks he can take on a Dracona with his bare fists... But, if you think my jumping in to save your ungrateful ass is me being an ass...? Well, fine, I guess. Douche.” The words are spoken with a warmth that means its not meant to be an insult rather a term of endearment. Stormy eyes roll and a smile slips onto a normally annoyed face.

“Oh, shut up!” William snorts and shakes his head, laughter falling from his lips. He brings his other hand out and clasps onto Dalton's from both sides. The warmth from both hands being pressed against a slightly cooler one makes the red-brown eyed, strawberry pink haired male smile brightly. Will keeps a gaze leveled on the glowing eyes before him. “But seriously, I told you to not help me! You can't-”

“-Save everyone. I know, Will... I know...” Dalton sighs and pulls his hands out from between the other's. “You also know I won't let you die.” That simple sentence hangs between the two of them, they know all the reasons why – when push comes to shove – neither of them would ever let the other die.

Will sighs, “Sorry.”

The two stand there for a moment, the night air whispering around them and through the darkened forest around them. Gray shapes of prickly bushes and towering trees are blurry to the eye of the human while the eye of the other takes in the world as if it were still early sunset. Red eyes have large, round pupils like a cat's as they nod with a sad smile.

“Lets just... Go back to the dorm...”

William nods and reaches out, taking the other's hand again. The coolness settling into the human's skin as the warmth cuts through the chill of Dalton's skin makes the two of them relax, emotions flowing freely through them. The two of them turn and head for the path they had wandered from back while their was still light, Will's stormy eyes being able to make out more than shapes now they are touching and Dalton can feel the chill of the night somewhat making him feel a small wave of happiness.

Soon they are the path, the one that leads back toward the school. With their hands curled around one another they make their ways back to their shared dorm, the one that had once belonged to a lonely boy who let another boy push all his buttons. Now the two of them hold their heads high, it seems as if nothing could separate the two of them.

Nothing.
