The window in the room is open, letting in the summer breeze and washing over the two's sweat soaked bodies, cooling the drenched sheets below them. They both are asleep by now, tranquility between them and peace hangs in the air. Much different from the earlier actions and reactions that lead to this early morning slumber. Something that neither would have thought to have occurred prior, although neither would complain if they were awake to say so.
They both have been silently pining after the other for a long time now as it is. It started first with the girl now wrapped in the boy's arms. She had always adored him. His kind and gentle nature, how attentive he was to everything and everyone, and the way his amber colored eyes would shine whenever he was happy. Often times she would wonder what it would be like to run her fingers through his fine, white colored hair, would it be silky like how it looks? Or soft like how she imagines it to be in her late night fantasies?
She found even the little things, small habits he's picked up or developed enduring. From how he would think, while alone, with his chin resting on his palm, eyes slightly distant, and thoughtlessly lightly gnawing on his ring finger. Or how when he's nervous or embarrassed he plays with his bangs, sliding his fingers along and off them rather than through them like many girls she knows would. But she thinks thinks the cutest of them all would be whenever he's excited. He'll rock a little back and forth, his eyes closing and she would watch his expression closely. Its rather adorable, or at least she thinks it is, though no one is yet to argue with her on the topic.
He's a very responsible young man. Working many jobs to help his single mother with her bills. And loyal too. He would do anything for his family. She loves the fact he adores his mother and sister, that he takes such wonderful care of them. In all out honestly she can't really say if there is anything she doesn't love about him, at least nothing she doesn't love that she also adores about him as well.
She really has fallen for Robin Hope.
He on the other hand is enchanted by her. From her shyly blue eyes that sometimes sparkle with naughty and sly ideas to her flowing locks of pale golden flax. He likes to listen to her, especially when she's relaxed and freely being herself. She has a playful and sassy nature that usually only comes out when the two of them are alone together. He also loves her voice, when she talks and whens she sings. He enjoys watching her write music, her head bent over a note book with the clicking end of the pen loosely head between her lips and occasionally clicked open and closed with her tongue. But just as much he enjoys watching her read, listening to her half mutter the story out loud and hearing her get caught up in a while other world.
Or how, when she's nervous she'll half hid her face either behind a book or shadowing her eyes with her bangs. Robin really does love spending time with her even if its spent in hours of silence with neither of them really saying a word. But he also loves how thoughtful she can be. How sometimes she'll show up at one of his jobs just to bring him lunch or a warm drink when its cold out. That she never really wants people to worry about her and tries very hard to only worry about others.
Yes. Its not hard to say that Robin Hope is in love with Selene Evergreens as much as she is with him. Now if only they had realized it sooner, they could have avoided some heart ache, most of it they could of shouldered together... Robin wouldn't of sad what he had to her earlier that day that set her off. She wouldn't of snapped at him and they would of enjoyed their lunch with smiles. Nor would Selene of ended up wide awake, crying to herself with her knees pinned to her chest. She wouldn't of had avoided Robin the remaining of the day the way she had, she would probably of spent the evening at his house writing a new song.
But, with things as they are, she isn't...
