Fractured Mirror, Shattered Mirror

A/N: This is the shortened version of this because the long version had even more spoilers for the character and was extremely emotional. I didn't exactly feel comfortable posting it. So, yeah, here y'all go. More mirrored stuff...

[ Assorted - World Building - T ]

Mirror|rorriM
Blanc|rioN
Its night.

He knows this.

The voices inside his head dulled to a tingling buzz. But that's just fine. The voices weren't ones he wanted to hear anyways.

Instead he listens for the ripples and waves, the tapping and scratching and clawing and screaming. He listens for the struggle against his mirror that he put up along ago, the thick glass he put up as a wall between him and /her/. She's always wanting to take over, she's always there clawing at his mind and screaming at him the lies that /they/ told him.

"...eak... Demon. Monster!"

The howling rage echo through and around him like a clapping thunder. He frowns to himself, holding back from the words of hatred and anger and anguish. Alister, Daddy, Boss, or Leader - whatever you may call him - had taught Blanc what to do when the inside dulls down to one voice.

He can't give into the lies.

He knows this, but they still sting.

"Bastard child, born of hate and darkness!" The howling pain tears at him as he walks through his own darkness. Soft thuds thump in his ears like a steady heartbeat.

The Heart stares at the Soul.

A glistening, full length mirror shimmers in the dark. It rests on a bed of rock and shakes from the slamming of fists against the clear surface.

"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!!"

Blanc raises his head up, blue-green eyes defiant as he stares at the struggling girl, her frantic yellow-orange eyes blazing with venom. She stills when she sees him, her long dark hair like a waterfall down her back, silky to the touch like his own fluffy hair.
She sneers at him.

"You came."

He knows better than to talk to her, he knows better than to give her an edge at all. But he rolls his eyes, "Noir, or should say, Airi? I see you're up to your usual antics." He tsks as he walks up to the glass and presses his hand against it. "I don't hate you, you know... I do hate /them/ though. They hurt you just like they hurt me."

Noir jerks back, her teeth bared. "Lies, lies, liar! You were their golden child! Their perfect daughter...! Me? Monster! Corrupter! Demon...!" She grabs her head and yanks at her black hair, tears running down her face. "My fault. My fault! Noir's fault! Airi's fault!" Blanc winces at the last shout, feelin responsible for the girl's pain. But he knows its /their/ fault not him and hers.
/They/ were the ones who rejected them. /They/ were the ones who rejected their son and their daughter. All Airi had wanted was to be loved. And now that's all Blanc and Noir want, to be loved and love in return.

But.

As things are they never will be able to. Pain washes over Blanc, his whitish hair shadowing his eyes as he lowers his gaze.

"I'm sorry."

Its all he can say to her as she howls in pain, screaming with self hate and anguish. This is why its tough for an Eight child to be adopted by a family that is not their own unless they are ready to deal with everything.

Airi had been anything but happy.

They had been unable to be the daughter their mother had wanted, controlled and poised and perfect. But that hadn't been who Airi was. No. They had been rough and rowdy and messy. They liked things like robots and mud pies and wrestling with the neighborhood boys. They had never really been really all that girly nor had they ever really felt like a girl. But its what mother wanted, its what father said was right.

So Airi did it.

Mother told Airi to hold her head high, but never above a boy's, she needed to be a proper lady. Mother told Airi that to be accepted by anyone they had to act a certain way, be a certain way, and keep themselves under perfect control at all times. Airi wasn't able to do two things.

Airi wasn't able to be Airi anymore once Mother started to notice something was off about their child. And not just how boyish they were. But how sometimes their personality changed. How sometimes the little girl they knew became silent and closed off, nothing like the playful handful they were used to. So Mother took Airi in for a check up. Mother found out Airi wasn't even human. She pitched a fit and that was the day Airi found out that they were a monster.

A monster who's heart and soul can't connect, who's mind is forever fragmented. Airi was taken from her Mother and Father, she was put into a room where they asked her questions and made her do things she was scared of some of the time and rest of the time she thought they were cool. Airi met a man, this man said he could help her. Airi had asked the man if Airi was a girl to them and the man had simply ruffled Airi's hair and told Airi to be whomever Airi wanted to be.

So Airi became Blanc and Noir. Blanc is bright and happy and male. While Noir is scared and angry and hurt, Noir is female at times and male at others fractured beyond even the separation known as an Eight.

And Airi, no, Blanc is staring at Noir right now, tears running down their face. Screams of monster, freak, demon, and I'm sorry echoing in the dark place. Pain washing over the both of them as they collaspe to their knees. Neither able to shoulder the pain of being unwanted, unloved, and finally disowned again.

Both know night is coming to a close. Noir's pounding having faded into a weak tapping. Blancs tears having become silent sobs. Both know that morning is soon. Both are beaten out dry and ready to give up.

But then a light flutters in. It breaks apart the darkness. Two laughs fill the room, one is vicious and dark while the other is shy and light, those two laughs calm the two. Both bodies relaxing. And then bright light blinds them both.

Blanc's eyes blink open and he sees light.

He knows its morning time.

And he thanks god it is.

My Mirror, Your Mirror...

[Assorted - T]

Mirror|rorriM
Remi|moR
She lifts her head, black bangs slip into her eyes and makes her have to shake them out. The air is crisp, chilly even, very unlike her tropical paradise of a home. Her lilac eyes narrow as her body prickles with the cold, her sensitive nerves not agreeing with the change one bit. After a moment a hand lands on her back, blue-green eyes framed by silver-white hair cuts into her vision with a worried expression. Blanc frowns at her, his boy's pixy cut waving in the slight breeze chilling her body.

"Remi?" His tone is worried, but firm, he can feel something is wrong too but his concern is on her right now. "Hey there pretty gal, what's wrong?" His normally teasing compliment used more as a comfort as Remi drags in chilly air into her lungs. Humans and even most Eights wouldn't feel the shift in weather for another ten minutes or so. But she knows exactly how the city is supposed to feel and where. This was not normal. Not one bit, her nerves tingle with the chill.

She frowns and tilts her head to the side, her body sensing the change in weather and direction with out much prompting, "The North Gate... Blanc... I think its..." A roar from the distance confirms her suspicions. "... Wrath."  Remi shivers, her fear almost getting the better other before fingers claw into her and drag her deep inside of her own head.

Lilac eyes become a midnight purple and a smirk slides into place on her face, "Noir? You here?" A white head shakes. "No babysitting then?" Blanc nods with a playful smile.

"You got this Rom."

Rom rolls their eyes and holds out their hand, their body's nerves firing on overdrive until they feel like they're burning. "Get the civilians out of here." Blanc smiles and nods.

"Understood."

He then takes off running, his own heart picking up pace and leads the Soul where the Heart could not go. All Souls are fighters after all. They close their burning hand and runs after the fragile heart of their friend and comrade. It takes them very little time to catch up and overtake the other with a playful, warm wave.

Rom comes running in as the Ice Wrath, its white furred body shaking off shards of crystalized water, stumbles forward towards the Second District's Community Center. Its gleaming, reflective silver roof on eye level with the beast. Rom rolls their eyes, their singeing nerves sends their arms into a burning sensation as they begin to blaze with fire.

The monster feels the heat and turns its massive head, two story body wobbling as it moves and tusks making its head wobble more. Rom rolls their dark eyes, "Hi there. Mind scramming?" It rumbles and then roars, a sound between a sea lions bark and tigers growl. Rom snorts before sighing. "Okay. We're doing this the hard way."

The Soul is as close to the world around them as a person could ever be and they are one of the Star Class for a reason. An A Class can be as strong as a Star Class, but they won't be able to access the purest form of themselves, the Soul unable to grasp onto their inner energy. But Rom? Rom is a true Star Class, a red star to be exact.

Fire and Ice mix about as well as Water and Oil. Rom know this. And they're ready to rain fiery hell down upon this monster.
"All clear!" Blanc's voice rings from the other side of the huge creature, its wobbling body shaking a as if to turn around. But Rom runs up and throws a small, flaming punch to its  flipper like leg. It lets out a monstrous snarl and shifts its flipper away, tusks swinging as its head shakes.

"Pay attention!" The shout is directed to both the playful Blanc and the Wrath. "Lets dance...!" And the fire inside them rages with such a glorious flame that its almost tearing them apart. But its worth it, they know they can save everyone. So they fight the Ice Wrath with everything they have...

- - -

Blanc knocks back his fourth shot, whooping as he does, "Damn. Nothing feels as good as Jolt after a job well done!" He puts an arm around the lilac eyed girl with him, her raven covered head ducked low with embarrassment.

"We're supposed to be low key, Blanc," Her face is flushed a deep crimson from the other's touch, her skin far more sensitive than most. Blanc gives her a drunken smile, his eyes bright from the lightning flavored alcohol. "And we shouldn't be drinking..." To which her friend waves her off, almost in an uncaring way, but its not.

Blanc knows that if he gives a little for Remi he'll get a lot back. She's the kind of girl who loves when others are happy, but is afraid of people to a rather unsettling fault. Blanc reaches up and ruffles her hair, "Sorry, pretty gal, I'm done for the night." He presses a familiar kiss to her forehead. "Lets get this shy thing home, mmk?"

Black bangs shake as she nods and slowly stands to her feet. Blanc smiles to her and she stands dutifully next to him, he uses her shoulder to stand, his playful gaze sweeping the room a moment to call off any on lookers with a glance.

He catches someone starring at them, red glasses pushes up a small nose and lips purses around a bendy straw. Just some stray teen from what he can see, her pale green hair flows down her shoulders like a floral waterfall. Blanc pauses, his insides clawing at him slightly, he can feel the tapping on his internal glass as his mirror ripples. But he places his heels firmly on solid ground and turns his gaze from the girl.

When he looks back at Remi she's frowning at him. This isn't the first time he's had to deny the Soul and as the Heart is strangely strong enough to hold it back when its bitting at the bit for a taste of life. Even so Remi knows that if they don't leave soon Blanc will no longer be Blanc between the lust she can smell on his skin and the alcohol she knows is coursing through his veins.

"Lets go," Her voice is small, but it holds him firmly where he needs to be. Following behind her, stumbling a little from the dual highs, he makes it into the burning afternoon sun. Remi shivers from the shift in temperatures, but adapts to the heat quickly. Blanc is lead by Remi through the districts to their compound in the Eighth. Its a large building and they live in the top floor, about fifteen stories up, with the others in Alister's top class team. They have always been the first to respond, or maybe they just always got lucky. Remi doesn't care which it is.

All she knows is this is the way things are meant to be. Her kind all shoved into this tiny district, treated like dogs and less than even second class citizens. To be an Eight is not a blessing by any means. But, for some, it may be worth it. Like it was for Remi.

Her body shivers as she shoves the thought away, the heavy metal doors opening after scanning their collars. They walk into their only haven in this city called Heaven. This building is the only place where people like them can be fully accepted, even if Blanc can bring endless girls home in a month, even if Flora is loved by those she helps, even if Rose is sometimes thanked for her acts of kindness... This is where they belong. Kept in their kennels until they're called upon.

Remi sighs.

This is the Crystal Tower. Also know as Eight Central. Walking beyond the gates she can feel Blanc shift and she does just as quick. The angry howling from Noir is drowned out by the angry snarling from Rom. Rom's dark eyes holding Noir's bright gaze. It only takes a moment before both are whacked on the head.

A person with an bored expression framed by curly brown hair is standing there. They pull on their black gloves and grabs the two by their collars. "I think that's enough you two. Rom, Remi please. Noir. Get out."

As the two calm, Blanc's smell shifting to one of fear and Remi looks terrified they duck their heads. "You two know better." After a moment a sigh is given and the bored expression morphs to an upset one, sparkling gold eyes lovingly gazing at the two. "Get inside." He lets go of the them. Remi ducks her head and nods, heading inside. She barely catches Blanc apologizing as the doors close behind her...

Mirror Images...

[Assorted - World Building - NR]
Mirror | rorriM
Flora | aunaF

She smiles like she always does.

Her beaming face like a beacon of hope for the sick. Her presence sweeping a crossed the sick bay like an angel's soothing grace, her pink curls pinned back from her face to frame rose-pink eyes.

Dancing through the halls with blankets in one hand and a tray of hello in the other, her feet tap out a pattern of excitement. For her the idea of death is far off. To this pink colored joy there is no such thing.

Tapping her way to a bed next to a small window, she twirls to a stop. Her pink eyes sparkle with joy and love, "Hi, hi!" A tiny form shifts in the bed, their toes barely reaching halfway down the adult sized furniture, hospital sheets crinkling with their tiny movements. "Food time~!"

Large blue eyes that are hazy from sleep blink open. A weary smile is given when the haze clears and those blue eyes focus, "... H...hi..." The voice is so tiny it might as well have been a wispy breeze rather than a child's voice. But the pink haired lady just beams huge, sitting on the edge of the bed.

She places the blankets over the child who's body is too tired to even shiver to help produce body heat. And then, with the tray on her lap, she starts to spoon feed the child. It takes several minutes to get through even the smallest of bites.

The child far too weak to being forced to eat food again. But the sick bay can't keep them here forever so Flora has taken it upon herself to nurse them back to tip top shape.

Its as the child finishes that she feels her skin tingle. Something isn't right. At first she thinks its the calm child gazing at her, but the her heart clenches and she knows that's not it.

No only one thing can make her feel like this.

With her dazzling smile she stands and ruffles the child's hair, "Be back." She walks to the window, her pink gaze widening before lowering her head and touching that reflective surface inside her. Pink eyes become a sour yellow color as the smile slips from her face. "You've got to be kidding me."

Pink curls whip around as the yellow eyed girl turns and storms from the sick bay, face set in an unamused expression. Soon she reaches the sterile area's double doors and throws them open and plays with her earring. A crackle is heard before the com-link comes online.

"Fauna here," Her tone is a no nonsense one as she slips on her gloves, her body zinging with energy. "We have a breech by the Fourth Division Sick Bay. I'll need back up." Her flats touch the gravel road of the mid range division, sparking sensations through her at a rapid pace, feedback to her brain causing her to immediately go into what Daddy calls "hunter mode".

In the distance she can smell it, like a loaning stench of death and hatred. Her nose will guide her there.

Closing her eyes she feels her body move, like a graceful dance a crosses a stage. It doesn't take long before she comes to a lazy walk. Yellow eyes open as a playful smile slips into play.

"I can smell you."

A growl comes from her right and her eyes open in time for her to bring her arms up to block the flying tail. It stings slightly as hard armor slams into her more plush skin. But she's tougher than any human.

She's an Eight after all.

So she gives the monster before her the brightest and kindest smile, "Wraths like you should know better than to hunt in my city." It roars at her as if it understands and she just laughs as its claws come rushing at her.
She catches them, holding the creature in place. It snarls at her, but she's an A rank strength and defense for a reason. Their natural strengths are equal.

"Looks like we're stuck, huh?"

If she wanted to she could go all out on this thing, almost like a huge russet lizard. Its claws are bigger than she is. If it decides to use its brain it could try actually snapping its jaws at her. Its teeth are more of fangs, she can see the venom sacks from here.

The Wrath's forked tongue flicks out at her as if its deciding if biting her is worth the while. Neither of the opponents want to waste energy. As a matter of fact they would both prefer to stay as they are until the other gives. One starving, the other has to get back to a child, both working on a timed schedule.

Fauna sighs through her nose. Minutes have ticked by. But suddenly her nose picks up a scent, one that's familiar. Her lips pull into a playful smile as she shoves the lizard back. Their jaws come snapping at the same time.

A flash of red blurs past yellow eyes. The Wrath howls in pain, its head snapping to the side with a force so strong that it knocks a tooth free. Then angry crimson eyes turn onto the pink haired female, "You couldn't wait, could you?"

Fauna giggles, "Hello, Thorn." She clasps her hands together behind her back and rocks on her heels. "I was sure Daddy would find you in time... So? Shall we?"

Thorn sighs, anger melting away as cold logic finally settles in Rose no longer fighting for control as the Wrath shifts its weight to face the two of them. "Yes." One word is all that needs to be spoken between the two Eights. Together they make a perfect A rank Eight, its why they are often fighting side by side.

Fauna defends the two, her dancing footwork steady and solid while Thorn flows like a raging river and strikes like a swarm of bees. It doesn't take long for the two to drive the Wrath back to the wall surrounding their city. The creature is injured and tired, it makes it over the wall as Fauna holds up her hand for a high five. Thorn leaves her hanging for a moment before touching finger tips with the other, palm touching being something that makes strange feelings bubble up in the Soul and causes the Heart to struggle and become agitated.

Pink eyes beam, "Good Thorn, Flora happy!" The pink eyed, pink haired girl bounces and crimson eyes close before opening to being a crystal red. "Oh. Hi, hi. Mmm..." Flora remembers the child waiting for her and jumps away from Rose. "Hi, bye. Flora help child. Flora go." Rose nods, her blank gaze softening slightly to show acceptance and happiness.

So Flora runs off, her grin huge as she passes by those who are scared. Her very presence calming them and her heart sours.

She smiles like she always does.

Inviting others to join in the joy and hope she brings them. Her feet dancing to a tune of happiness that only she can hear.

She smiles like an angel who has come to save you from suffering, because, in the end, she only wants one thing. She wants someone to smile at her with their soul and heart just like she tries to do for them.

She smiles like she always does in hope to return joy to those without hope.

Mirrored Remix...?

Hi everyone,

This is Wresie. I am coming to tell you that I am working on Broken Science: Reboot, but when a friend of mine said something about taking an experiment group from it and starting a series based on just them it got me thinking. And, well, this was one of the things I thought. I couldn't shake it so I wrote it. And thank you to the friend who put the idea in my head - I'm most likely not gonna be able to put this down now.

I hope you all enjoy this while I work on Broken Sci. Also, I would like to mention this is the second story/series thing that I wanted to name "Mirror|rorriM". But this one will probably be far more successful than the "remake of Alice in Wonderland" I was doing. Though I may write that too.

Thanks for reading this, you can now move onto the short.

xoxo,
Wresie

Rose | nrohT

Its was an everyday occurrence, one she should ignore. Yet another scuffle between rowdy boys and their newest disagreement. Her sensitive hearing had picked up the fight from five blocks away when it had just been shoving, a small frown had morphed her face from blank to slight discomfort. She knows she shouldn't investigate, that this isn't her priority, but her body moved before she consented and her red hair whips around her like a flaming halo as her lightly taken running foot falls draw her onto the scene.

Its something she knows she should avoid.

But its something she can't forgive.

Four boys are present. One is hanging limply, no fight left in their body between two others holding him up by the armpits. The two holding the first are snickering, their jeering voices not going to have enough time to reach the red head as they react. The fourth, the one throwing punches at the first as he can't defend himself, is cackling.

She reacts.

She knows she shouldn't.

But she does.

Her body snaps like a viper, striking just as deadly. The cackling boy's eyes widen a fraction before he falls, their gray depths going dark into unconsciousness. Next comes the two jeering. First the one on the left has their arm dislocated with a vicious pop and then is sent flying to the ground with a kick to the back. Finally the boy on the right freaks out.

“Wha... wha... WHAT THE HELL?!?!”

His voice dramatically raises as she grabs him, her eyes a crystal red. “I don't like bullies.” And she head butts him, hard. He loses consciousness immediately as he's dropped to the ground. Her head is a little sore from the brute force and she turns her vicious gaze onto the fourth boy. When she sees his scared eyes she feels her frown come back, her blank face twisting into one of slight discomfort again. “Hey, hey...” She holds up her hands to show she isn't going to harm him. “I'm here to help, see?” She waves to the people around them, but the boy's eyes widen like a scared animals and he starts screaming.

“MONSTER,” The word stings as it reaches her words, other words catching up to her senses as well. Ones from the supposed fight earlier. Words like 'little bitch' and 'faggot'. These are words she couldn't forgive or ignore, or so she has rationalized with herself as her mind catches up to the words being screamed at her. “Stay away...!” The boy stumbles back as she goes to reach for him, to help him since he's injured and she wishes to bring him to a hospital. “st-Stay away you monster! You-You freak!”

Beneath the sudden rage from the others reaction is a tidal wave of sadness. This is why she isn't meant to help people. This is why she avoids confrontation at all costs. This is why she lets Thorn handle these things.

Its as simple as holding your breath and diving under water, only to emerge once more as a whole new being. Her eyes darken to a bloody crimson as all meekness and concern fades from them. Her blank facade melts away to pain and anger.

“The only monsters that are here are the ones who were attacking you,” Her body turns, fluid and deadly as it goes, but lazy like a cat. There are no threats around so she has not reason to be here. As a matter of fact she knows she's not meant to be here.

But she is.

So she looks over her shoulder at the scared boy.

“There is a clinic about two blocks south of here, they'll fix you up.” And with that she darts off into the city. Her body like a lethal weapon, her mind a dagger all on its own. She was made for destruction, yet its peace she craves. And, one way or another, as a member of the Eighth Division she has brought it upon her shoulders to bring it. One stupid, ungrateful brat at a time.

She hears a struggle about three blocks east. Her senses tell her this time its a girl being overpowered, the high pitched voice making her head ache even from this distance.

She knows she shouldn't go there.

But she also knows she will.

So whats the point in fighting it?

Her body is already moving anyways.

And this is why Thorn needs Rose, because she acts with out over analyzing things. She does what she needs to when she needs to. This is why crimson eyes become crystal. And her feet silently smack pavement, bring her closer to the struggle she knows she shouldn't encounter.

Yet.

That never stops her.

Moon Song:

[Broken Reality - NR]

Once upon a time I started a story for my character Selene Evergreens, it was going to be the story of her life. But now I'm thinking of setting it aside until I've gotten down what I want to do for Broken Science - I'm debating making her a main character for the universe anyways. So. I would like to share with you the original opening pieces for her story arc as well as some poems I made up for the end of each chapter that had been finished, since Selene is a musician I thought it would be cool to write up little poems for her to have been working on as if she were attempting to write lyrics. I suck at writing lyrics so they became free verses. But here are the arc points and the poems.

Arc One:
There are two types of people in the world.
The victors.
And the Victims.
I happen to be one of the Victims.

Arc Two:
There are three types of people in the world.
The broken.
The lonely.
And the forgotten.
I am one of the forgotten.

Arc Three:
There are four types of people in this world.
The beggars.
The fighters.
The lovers.
And the leaders.
I've been given the role of a leader.

Arc Four:
There are many people and many roles that can be played in this world.
I cannot tell you how many of them I've played.
But I can tell you I am still growing and I will continue to grow.
With that said I guess I am one role.

I am forever changing.

Poem One:
Oh dear joy, oh dearest heart,
Oh sweet love, oh my upstart,
Given the time of day,
You should have paid.

Oh dearest heart of mine,
Undoneth wrath of the divine,
Simple wishes, simple hopes,
Bruises, scars, one does cope.

Lingering voices call thy name,
And dearest heart tis it a game?
Dearest heart do you cry?
For it is me who has died...

Poem Two:
Fate has a funny way,
Of knowing what to say,
When your heart has faded,
And all you know is jaded.

Fate is a small word,
Not by many heard,
But oh so strong,
For many it’s what they long...

What She Learned:

“Humans do selfish things. Even I do. But even so, we can be selfish and still love one another... maybe, just maybe I can let things go and try, for once, being a bit more selfless.” - Selene Evergreens

Back from the Fringe

[Broken Science - Update]

The realm of "Canon" has been suddenly changed. I've struggled for years in order to make specifics of this universe work, to be able to bring in characters that don't fit the original theme of the world very well, to not "God Mod" and "Mary Sue/Gary Stu" my characters, to bring an entertaining and interactive world together so I can share it with everyone. But it was only after a sudden explanation of one my characters that I realized what was wrong.

This is NOT a fantasy world. It was never meant to be. I have a wide variety of characters, ones that I love, who have been made untrue to themselves and world around them is not the one they belong in. So I am going to fix this, I am going to take all unnecessary pieces out of the world and, for the most part, I am going to start with the bare bones of the place. The one thing I know that is going to stay is my character Jackie's original being, beyond that all characters and the entire world is getting a revamp. I realize not many people will understand this, but I feel like I need to let everyone know that THIS is what NEEDS to be done. No more tip toeing around the problem. I'm going to uproot the world and rip it apart, find the core, and restore it to what it once was.

I hope to bring back all the things that once made this world great, what made this world fun, I want to put the Broken back into Science. The amazing Fringe Science that was done in the original horrific world was exactly what this world is meant to be. Filled with emotion, character growth and decay, and most importantly the shattered healing the shattered. This is a universe, a world in which the worst of humanity is brought out. But in light of this the best of humanity can also shine.

Its scary. Terrifying even, probably horrific to some what will be happening. But this is Horror after all.

Horror.

A specific genre that I've always wanted to avoid because I've always been easily scared, seems to be my niche and I like it that way. From here on out the world known as Broken Science shall be the Science Fiction Horror it was meant to be. I promise to never stray from the path of proper world growth and build this thing back up from the ground to where it will shine the way its meant to - with an eerie glow that shimmers in the moonlight. My characters will grow up and grow into their roles thrust upon them rather than just being the roles at the start. The world will grow with the characters as well as always being there.

I make the promise now to give you all the best experience. So lets brings the Fringe back to Fringe Science together. I can't wait to take this journey with every person who comes a crossed this.

And now I have to say. Welcome to the rebirth, welcome to the recreation of an idea I once thought was long since lost...

Welcome to my world...

Welcome to Broken Science: Rebooted.

Cilvia Dictus - Old Version

[Broken Reality - Character Analysis - NR]

All of her life Cilvia followed the same set of rules. She was to never harm someone with out a fully decent reason. People are to be held at a distance, the farther away the safer for the both of them. Her thoughts are hers alone and no one really needs to know them in full. Only say what's needed. Only communicate what you understand. Stand your ground. Protect the weak, don't force them to fight for themselves. Unite with the strong, together you can withstand anything. Ignore the meaningless. The powerless are meaningless. And, finally, don't let anyone try to change your beliefs.

Many of these changed when she was four, when her little brother and sister were born. Her amazing and powerful little shadow bender slash light bender little sister Sharah should have been her priority. As her rules dictate she shouldn't of noticed her powerless, human like little brother at all. Yet, as the years rolled on, it was him she noticed.

Cilvia broke her second rule by choice. She saw her brother doing as she does, distant and shadowing. But, she also knew, it wasn't his choice. He had wanted to play with her, she doesn't like playing with people like him. If you must you could caller her racist against people with out powers, but that had to do with the fact that the people she had met up to that point, the powerless were the bullies while the powerful were made into the weaklings. She hated it. But she knows better than to throw a label on someone she barely knows. Besides her brother is now shunned for the very same reason she was feared. She was strange and indifferent. He is strange and indifferent. But, for him, there was more. Him and people, they could work out if only someone could break the barrier.

The still young girl, age eight, took her brother under her wing. Well, not literally under her wing, but she taught him many things that year. Mostly small games they could play together. It didn't take long for her to notice he's stronger and faster than normal humans. He was like the less extensive experiment's children. Why was he pushed away then? Was it the way he treated people?

Cilvia had power over shadows. She would ask them to follow her brother and watch him. She needed to know how he treated others. What was reported to her angered her. Cil is not one to harm people weaker than her unless there is a good enough reason. For the most part she ignores people. But this... Blatant disrespect for her little brother set her on edge. Being the big sister she is she left her own class, ignoring her teacher and the janitor as she ran into the shadows themselves. She knew the way, and, when she came out, she was at her old preschool. That was the first time Cilvia ever spoke more than necessary.

She yelled at the boys who wouldn't let her brother join in with them. She yelled at the teacher, she yelled at her little sister to not tell her to calm down. And finally she yelled at Aaron, her little brother, "Don't just take things lying down! Fight for what you want!" He, of course, ended up calming her down by saying he really didn't mind. A few minutes later one of her three mothers, Rose, showed up and picked up all three kids. Cilvia got yelled at in the front seat while the other two were treated to cookies and juice.

Years pass and Cilvia is a happy thirteen year old. Her brother is an ever energetic nine year old. Together they play and take on the world. Cil going around the city with her little brother in tow, the two just pushing themselves to their limits. Although, occasionally, Aaron would get hurt. It would drive the elder sister crazy. Often times she would confide in her own older sister Fallyn, the angel winged woman would always listen and hold her little sister.

More years pass. Cilvia had gone off to college and come back for a break. That's when her brother broke the news to their family. He was joining the military. Her mothers broke, she could see it in all three of them. Her own blood mother leaving the conversation completely. Meanwhile Aaron and Sharah's blood mother sighed and let him go. Riley, the third mother, was panicking. Their father ended up saying it was okay too. If they were fine with it Cilvia would be too. It wasn't until the family stopped getting letters home that she started to worry. But she trusted Aaron, he had promised her to come home alive, and he wouldn't do that to her.

By the time he was supposed to come home came around Cilvia wasn't so sure. She avoided the airport once she was home herself from her own break. Instead she walked the city, ignoring people and watching the sky. The camera in her bag calling to her to take pictures of this beautiful city she calls home. But then a voice had called out to her, it was her little brother. She had felt so relieved when he showed up before her. But then... He told her he was in love. And everything changed.
