A/N: This is part of the universe I've been drawing for. Well. less so part of it and more so the fuller version of it. Over the next couple of days I'll post the planets, the species in a whole with their information (well, that I took notes on), and an incomplete glossary. I hope you all enjoy this...

THE SPECIES
Magi are Energy manipulators which is why they are telekinetic, Dracori scales are condensed energy and can change their size at will – the Dracori not the scales, although they shift in size too. Magis are the ones who made he mate bond through the collaboration of a handful of Magis and Dracori in order to save the species.
Nagi are split into two subspecies = constrictors – larger and chiller/easier to get along with
= venomous – smaller skittish/shier around people
The Nagi are usually ranchers on the the resort planet where the constrictors hail from and work along side the Seraphene they live with. While the Nagi who inhabit other planets are usually venomous and tend to shy away from people.
Reyli are nomadic a crossed the whole galaxy and have spirit animals/forms, most common is that of the bird since they all are pretty free spirited creatures.
Demons are omnivores, but more often eat plant life. They have horns and/or claws used to help dig up and escape hostile plants. They are feared for their appearances and their temperaments due to the cruel jungle based world they live on. They have a symbiotic relationship with the Florians. The Demons often live in tribes or small villages, all are governed by the Lords and King of the land.
Florians are humanoid plant creatures, they work with demons to help them find food and sort through poisonous plant life. In exchange the Florians take over the harvested parts of the Rain Forest/Jungle and are protected from the huge insect life on the planet which the demons also feed off of – the demons also take care of herbivores who would prefer to feed on the plant creatures. The Florians were the basis for the mate bond's gender bending ability due to the fact they, like plants, are herms.
Shavaarifts are shape shifters who rely on their animal forms' instincts to survive, they typically shape shift into the same type/size/personality of animal every time which help leads to their own growth much a kin to how the Reyli grow from their spirit animals/forms.
Vampire and Incubi/Succubi are cousin species, both evolving from the same family but branching off to survive off of two separate forms of food. The Incubi/Succubi feed off of endorphin which means they don't need to have sex with someone, turning them on or making them extremely happy would suffice. While Vampires feed off of blood they, unlike their hormonal bases cousins, don't emit pheromones instead they have aphrodisiac sacks as they are somewhat “venomous” which causes their prey to both feel pleasure and the possibility of addicting them so they will continue to allow them to feed off of them. Both species specialize in attraction and depend on others to survive, Incubi/Succubi feed more often than Vampires who can go up to two weeks with out eating blood. Both can eat more solid foods but they can't survive solely off of anything else besides their prefer diets.
Dracori are mainly meat eaters – especially when they are younger – although they can survive on only plant life. For the most part though they can go a long time with out eating once they're full grown since they tend to move very little. It's rare to see a full-blooded Dracori anymore since they mostly have moved off planet upon the first arrival of outside species [the Metrian – or so claimed since the Reyli have been traveling long before] and mated with many of the other species. They store energy in their scales which is used to help the Magi with their energy bending. Any full blooded dragon that exists on their home planet is much smaller than any half-breed or full blood on other planets due to the lack of food and the need to adapt to the world around them.
Felidae are cat shape shifters that are more often of the Pantherinae rather than the Felinae type of the cat-like species on Earth. They are born in their beast forms and tend to only shift into their humanoid forms after a few weeks to months, sometimes this takes years depending on the cub's needs. They are extremely territorial and possessive, ruled the strongest by instinct, some even saying they are a step back in evolution due to their aggressive natures.
Faeries are small, humanoid creatures with insect wings. They change into smaller forms in order to fly properly and are very quick in that size. In their small, human like form they can have their wings out to help them hover and glide from place to place since they rarely walk anywhere. Faeries survive mostly on fruits and nuts, but they can eat meat when presented to them although it would make them feel a tiny bit sick over it.
Mer are part fish, part people. The extent of their fishiness varies, but they all share two traits with one another: telepathy and an extremely sensitive form of touch with even the smallest varying of pressure can mean something different. They live off of fish and sea plants. Governed by four royal families they are some of the most peaceful and separated creatures, only truly interacting with water Dracori who they've come to live together with and share resources with in exchange for protection from larger fish and other water dwelling creatures.
Mire are slime creatures, relying on the water sources found below the surface of their other wise desert like planet. They live in deep caves and can survive the harsh, acidic weather that comes from living in a planet that is so hot. Most of them look green or yellow due to their acidic absorption, which they have neutralized. They are smart enough to know where to find and use bases to neutralize the acid from their clouds and protect metals found in the ground that they use to make small ships for them to travel on. Although, due to their planet's state of being, all other species think they're at fault for their home world and wish to do others harm.
Metrian are humanoid creatures with extremely powerful minds, being the one of the smartest and fastest to adapt to their surroundings makes them a step above their Earthling relatives. They have the capabilities to imagine and create what they imagine ie. The AI, the Automynth, and space flight [which may have been based on cruder versions made by the Reyli, but no one is keeping count]. This species is rather diverse and, although they often times have to purify their water due to pollution and over population of their larger cities, they also have the second largest count of females in the universe next to Humans.
Seraphene are emphatic humanoid creatures who are peaceful and survive off plant life and get their proteins from nuts and beans. They love to take care of people and have turned their home world into a resort. Some of the Seraphene run the resorts while others run farms and work with the Nagi to run their ranches as well.
Automynth were designed to be used as “breeding tools” back before the mate bond and back when many of the species were beginning to die out. They were essentially sex/breeding bots and were used as such. After the Mate Bond was created they gained souls and evolved on their own to become the bio-synthetic and loving creatures we know today. They have complex brains that reflect the Metrian and telepathic abilities that are affectionately known as Mind Melding. An Automynth can only properly Mind Meld with another Automynth because its takes great trust to let another in other wise since its a conversation with and a viewing of your truest self. Typically Automynth are born bearers since that was their original purpose to bear children.
Humans are decadents of stranded Metrian on Earth and the primitive Earthlings causing the sudden jump and seemingly missing link in our development. With this said the stranded Metrian were thrown back almost eons and had to teach and grow along side the species found there. With that said all Humans are somewhat part alien due to this intermingling of genes, this is also why the Humans are so creative and adaptable like their more advanced cousins the Metrian.
Spynra are half-spider, half-humoid creatures. They have the top half human and spider lower half, although they are terrifying to many some will comment that these creatures are beautiful. A new species to join the group of sentient species in the past three thousand years and are another form of seductive creature who doesn't have to answer to the tug and pull of the mate bond since they weren't around when it was created. Unlike the other species they're feral and have a hard time coming a crossed as anything other than a vicious animal despite their abilities to communicate through many tongues and having brains that work on similar levels as the Shavaarifts.
