Quick Drabble Thingy Thing:

A/N: This is a quick writing challenge, yay <3

[Unsorted]

Anything Cliche

He didn't like walks on the beach.

He didn't like flowers nor chocolate nor candy hearts on valentines day.

He didn't like whispering "I Love You"s into the night.

He didn't like romantic dinners nor starry picnics nor cars getting stuck in ally ways.

He didn't like dreamy brown eyes or soul stealing blue ones.

He didn't like brunettes nor blondes nor red heads.

No. He didn't even like singing happy birthday on his birthday.

Anything that one could consider cliche or too common or something way too mainstream and he didn't like it. But mostly he just hated anything cliche. At least. He has since SHE left his life.

SHE had been his world, his light, his life. Where he ended SHE had begun. They seemed to be perfect for one another, both young and willing to marry. That was until the rainy night it happened.

They had one of their few arguments, she had started to storm off in tears. He had called after her and she turned and had screamed at him. This is not where the cliche, where the obvious paths ended. No. Next came the head lights, him screaming and running for her, her turning seeing all too late the car.

The sound of her life being slammed from her. The panic of the driver who kept apologizing and saying they tried to stop they really did. Her body limp in his arms.

No.

Since her he doesn't have anything to do with cliches. Instead he's living life as far from it as possible. Which, sadly, for him may never come. You see, even with her gone his life is just one big hurricane of cliches.

And that is the biggest one of all...
